Ben and Lauren met years ago when they were in school together, they’ve since moved to new locations to further their education and to follow their careers. Lauren is studying Clinical Psychology at George Mason. While Ben works in a technical industry traveling often.

But let’s rewind to when Ben popped the question to Lauren… Ben arranged a big proposal that couldn’t have been more perfect for Lauren. Lauren was flying home to Kansas to visit friends and family, Ben, much to Lauren’s surprise, hopped on a different plane to the same destination. Ben let Lauren’s friends and family in on the surprise and while they all witnessed, he asked Lauren to spend the rest of her life with him. She said Yes!

Now Ben and Lauren are planning their wedding for September 2016, while still maintaining their busy daily lives. When I was seeking a couple to model for our inspirational photo shoot, Lauren was more than eager to help. She and Ben both were so easy to work with, and a stunning couple.

Our theme for this session is elegant, romantic and real. Inspired by my desire to travel, love for romance and the itch to capture something truly inspiring. We did exactly that, created something that was awe inspiring and breathtaking. Aside from Ben and Lauren being our bride and groom for the day, we also arranged to have two beautiful bridesmaids stand by Lauren for this inspirational shoot. Joslyn and Marcele were smiling from ear to ear. I had to remind myself this was an inspirational shoot, because I truly felt the happiness between everyone.
