Mrs. Macarons offers Artisan French Macarons for any occasion. They are the perfect addition to a wedding, birthday party, bridal shower, and any other event you can think of!
I first met Jamaica at an event where I had the opportunity to taste her macarons and I was instantly in love. Not only are they super cute – perfectly round and smooth, they also taste delicious. I knew from this moment that Jamaica is both talented and beyond sweet. I’ve thoroughly loved getting to know her and watching her business blossom!
What is the inspiration for your business? How did you get started?
“I was inspired to learn how to make them shortly after my wedding. I wanted them from our wedding but the prices were over our budget. Shortly after the wedding I wanted to learn why they are priced the way they are. Made them and failed. Then a friend name Aaron told me to keep doing it. Life is about setting goals whether it is small or big. I was fired up after that. Therefore, I decided to learn through online, books, instagram, and YouTube to make them for other brides at a reasonable price. “
One thing I love about Mrs. Macarons is that she can completely customize your experience. If you want macarons for your wedding, she can put you and your fiance’s initial on the macarons, she can make them your wedding colors. If you want a Winnie the Pooh themed baby shower, she can make sweet little Pooh Bears, if you want a volleyball themed Mac, she can do that, too! I’ve seen seashells, ice cream cones, pumpkins, teddy bears, babies, you name it, she can make it!
Something I learned from Jamaica during this photo session is the difference between Macarons and Macaroons.
Macarons are French. They are made differently than the American version, Macaroons. Macarons are delicate, smooth in texture and not made with coconut.
