Springfield Manor Wedding: A Classic White, Green & Blue Wedding

Springfield Manor Wedding

Springfield Manor is such a gorgeous venue for a wedding, especially for this summertime affair. John and Melissa’s wedding will be one of my favorites for years to come, the colors, the weather, the friends, the family and everything about the day came together so perfectly. Springfield Manor has a beautiful spot that John and Melissa were able to get ready in onsite. A bridal suite where Melissa could be tucked away and a variety of backdrops that made for gorgeous photos locations. Having one location for getting ready, ceremony and reception makes the day feel a little more intimate in my opinion, everyone is together all day and don’t have to worry about travel accommodations from one spot to the next.

Moreover, the relationship Melissa has with her parents is so special. Watching the raw emotion unfold in front of my lens moved me. They share such a special relationship and so intimate. It is beautiful. Melissa’s mother, Barbara, was a total gem, she made the day go so easily, ready to help whenever needed and was a delight to chat with. Her joy radiated throughout the day! John and Melissa are a very loved couple and I am excited to watch them enjoy this new journey as husband and wife.

Now, let’s talk about all the beautiful details of their special day! John and Melissa’s theme was a classic style with blue, white and splashes of green. The bridesmaid dresses were a gorgeous shade of blue, while the groomsmen wore classic blue, too! They complimented each other so well. The flowers were white with greenery and a gentle but cohesive splash of blue. Melissa’s dress was elegant with the right amount of “ooh la la”. She was stunning! John and his groomsmen sported socks associated with their favorite NFL team, while the Redskins aren’t my first choice, I did love the personal touch of this! 😉

John and Melissa have a wonderful future ahead of them and I am unbelievably honored to have capture their wedding day!
