Last week we visited Williamsburg, Virginia. It was such a cute, historical place. I loved everything about it.
Our first stop was this candy store, mainly because of it’s location, but man did the treats look good!
I saw a Christmas shop and absolutely had to stop in to look around. It was a tight space filled with lots of treasures, definitely put me in the Christmas spirit. We already have most of our Christmas shopping done, so that makes it even nicer to know Christmas is right around the corner. All this fall weather, cold(er) nights and the crisp morning sun make me anxious for Christmas!
This was right outside the Christmas store, so appropriate too! I love the rich green color, and the texture of this image! But enough about Christmas, for now…
In Williamsburg, Virginia within the village they had this cute garden place. The villagers (workers) were dressed according to the time, and so were their tools. It was neat to see it all. Plus, the plants are so pretty. This makes me want to start my own garden, even if it is a small one.
This would be such a great spot for an engagement session, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all the green and lush. I’ve fallen in love with this place!
We, of course, had to take a photo! Philip’s mom was visiting from the west coast, and we are very thankful we were able to show her Williamsburg, Virginia. It is right up her alley, and we all enjoyed the time together.
I will be visiting Williamsburg, Virginia again some day. There was so much to see and do, we didn’t have enough daylight to do everything. They offered carriage rides, tours of the old buildings, and we could play old fashioned games. Jamestown is nearby, so next time we go south we will stop to see it too!
